Our school facilities

We offer a range of learning environments. They help students stay engaged, build confidence and enjoy every part of their school day. Our facilities may include:

Resources and technology

Our school uses modern technology and digital learning tools. Our resources help students learn, create and stay connected. As a NSW public school, we have access to shared programs and tools available to all schools in the state.

Hiring our facilities

You may apply to use our school’s facilities for appropriate purposes provided your hiring the facility does not interfere with our teaching and learning programs.

We assess each application on a case-by-case basis using the Community Use of School Facilities policy.

If you’re interested in hiring our facilities, contact us for details.

Multi Purpose Centre

Bookings for the hire and use of the MPC are accepted at Walcha Central School office during school hours or at the Walcha Council office during school vacations.

Bookings must be confirmed by completing the  Application and Agreement for Hiring Venue and/or Equipment  form below:

Financial contributions and assistance

There are some costs associated with going to school that you may find it helpful to plan and budget for.

These include:

Voluntary school contributions

Like all NSW public schools, we can request contributions to enhance our educational programs. School contributions help provide additional educational resources for the benefit of students. Payment is voluntary.

For more information, visit the Voluntary School Contribution policy.

Financial assistance

If you are unable to pay school contributions because of financial hardship, you may be eligible for assistance from the school.

Our principal will ensure no student or family suffers any discrimination or embarrassment over the inability to pay school contributions.

Making a payment

Our school has implemented a system called School Bytes to manage payments. Parents/carers can visit the School Bytes portal at any time to make a payment online, view payment history and apply credit. For non-student payments, please contact the school for a payment link.
