P & C

P&C serves morning tea and lunch at the swimming carnival

The Walcha Central School P&C Association promotes the involvement of parents and community members in the education of students at our school.  We raise funds to support projects which provide our students with greater opportunities and resources.

Our meetings are held on the second Wednesday of each month during school terms.  We meet in the School Library at 6:00 p.m.

At each meeting, we receive reports from the principal on the activities occurring in the school and have the opportunity to ask questions about the school.

Membership entitles you to attend meetings, receive the minutes and vote.  To become a member, pay $1 in an envelope with your name, phone number and email address on it, and leave at the front office.

The P&C operates the school canteen which provides nutritious, low-cost food to students and staff each day, and also contributes significant funds to the school budget each year.  We have a paid supervisor but rely heavily on voluntary work.  Parents and friends are welcome to put their name down on the roster each term.
